It is developed to make loops and coils without nicking precious wire which can cause a great deal of psychological pain to the user, not to mention what it does to the wire. Normal concave/convex pliers nick but the Master Coiler allows one to hold the wire with the flat jaw while rotating the round jaw to form the perfect loop!
